The company’s commitment to environmental preservation is fulfilled by encouraging the public to reduce the use of single-use plastics through the “Spirit to Reduce Plastic” Movement at the head office and all branch offices. In addition to providing categorized trash cans (plastic, paper, food scraps) and not using plastic shopping bags at the Head Office Cooperatives, Astragraphia also provides internal education activities through various methods such as electronic mail and social media, as well as sorting, cleaning, and calculating the volume of plastic waste. Astragraphia has also planted trees, especially at the branch offices, to improve the air quality and help minimize climate change, since trees absorb carbon dioxide while releasing oxygen into the air.
