Bintan, May 14, 2025 – Astragraphia's commitment to environmental conservation is realized through the planting of 1,000 tree seedlings in collaboration with Gudem Bee Farm in Kampung Pasiran, Sri Bintan Village, Teluk Sebong District.
This activity was held as a form of support for the commemoration of World Bee Day which falls on May 20. Not only focusing on business in the fields of printing solutions, technology, and digital transformation services, Astragraphia also continues to emphasize its commitment to the company's sustainability strategy through the environmental pillar. Through activities that carry the theme "1,000 Productive Trees Movement for the Prosperity of Society and Nature", Astragraphia hopes to make a real contribution to environmental conservation while supporting the welfare of the surrounding community.

Mr. Ricky Chandra, Chief of Branch Operation 1 PT Astra Graphia Tbk explained that the company has a CSR program divided into four pillars, namely education, entrepreneurship, health and environment. Mr. Ricky added that the collaboration in planting 1,000 tree seedlings with Gudem Bee Farm is an implementation of the environmental pillar. Mr. Ricky hopes that the tree planting activities carried out by the company can provide real benefits for the Bintan community.
Assistant for General Administration of the Bintan Regional Secretariat, dr. Gama AF Isnaeni expressed his appreciation for this environmental awareness activity, and hoped that Astragraphia could participate more widely in other pillars such as education, entrepreneurship and health. In addition, dr. Gama also appreciated Gudem Bee Farm which had initiated this tree planting activity and managed the area into a productive area that could benefit the local economy in Bintan.
Gudem Bee Farm Manager, Sergeant Meldi Wahyuda explained that the flowers from the planted trees will be a source of food for honey bees. A total of 800 santos tree seedlings were planted along the entrance road from Km 50-53 to beautify nature in addition to being a source of food for honey bees. Meanwhile, 200 Crystal Guava tree seedlings were planted in the community environment to process the fruit. He hopes that this collaboration can continue and provide benefits to the local community.

Planting santos flowers is an active effort in providing a friendly habitat as well as a source of food for bees. Not only that, planting crystal guava trees is also expected to provide economic benefits to the surrounding community. The fruit produced from these trees can be processed or sold, thus providing added value that has a direct impact on the welfare of local residents.
