PT Astra Graphia Tbk (Astragraphia) received appreciation and awards in disclosing the company's commitment to implementing ESG at the 2022 ESG Disclosure Awards, which was held by Investor Magazine in collaboration with the Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation. The event was held virtually on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, which was attended by the Editor in Chief of Investor Daily, Primus Dorimulu and all award winners. On the occasion of the award, Astragraphia was represented by Satryo Dewandono as Chief of Business Strategy & Development and Corporate Communications.

In his speech, Mr. Satryo expressed his gratitude for the assessment and appreciation given by Investor Magazine and the BGK Foundation. “As a public company that focuses on printing and digital, we are committed to focusing on environmental, social and governance aspects in carrying out sustainable business activities. Of course, this appreciation will motivate us to disclose the implementation of ESG transparently through the Sustainability Report that we publish every year,” he said.

A total of 135 companies participated in this award event, but according to Deni Daruri, Founder of Bumi Global Karbon, only 120 could be assessed based on the assessment parameters, as reported by the Indonesia Stock Exchange data. Deni said that the BGK assessment refers to 33 main indicators, with the general standard used is the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

On the same occasion, the Director General of Climate Change Control at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Laksmi Dwanthi, said that this award is a real contribution from the media in increasing literacy to the community, especially in the field of environmental management and protection.

In addition, Laksmi continued, efforts to deal with potential problems of air or water pollution are also very important for all parties. He said the law mandates that everyone has the right to a good and healthy environment. This mandate encourages Indonesia's commitment to realize sustainable and environmentally friendly development.
